Métees started as a casual pastime. It blossomed into something unexpected. Métees creates clothing, apparel, and accessories for Métis people. Métis people are the people of Red River, with a distinct identity, history, language, culture, and nation. Métis =/= mixed.
Métees draws inspiration from Métis history, culture, language, traditions, with accents of pop culture. These elements blend into a fashion forward and contemporary expression for the Métis people of today.
Métees are created by Red River Métis, registered with the Manitoba Metis Federation.
